Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care in a fast-paced ER environment
• Assess, triage, and implement interventions for acute and urgent patients
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and float between units as needed
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately
• Maintain competency in specialty skills and complete required exams and checklists
• Ensure compliance with health screening and immunization requirements prior to and during assignment

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Nursys verification required)
• Current PALS, ACLS, and BLS certifications
• DCI/BVP certification as listed by the facility
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and weekends; must be able to float between units
• Per diem availability for a 26-week assignment, with mandatory availability 02/18/2026 - 02/19/2026
• Ability to complete full compliance profile within two weeks of start date (drug screen, TB test, fit test, required vaccines, etc.)

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong emergency nursing assessment and triage skills
• Rhythm interpretation and basic pharmacology knowledge
• Competence with core ER skills and specialty procedures
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, variable patient-acuity setting
• Ability to pass required skills checklists and specialty exams
• Professional documentation and teamwork skills
