Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality radiographic and fluoroscopic imaging to support accurate diagnoses
• Operate PACS and a variety of imaging equipment including GE, Philips and Siemens systems
• Provide bedside and portable imaging for patients across acuity levels, including NICU and ICU
• Prepare and administer contrast media safely and start peripheral IVs when needed
• Adhere to radiation safety and infection prevention protocols to protect patients and staff
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams — from respiratory therapy to phlebotomy — to optimize patient care
• Maintain clear, timely documentation in the charting system (Epic preferred)

Qualifications

• ARRT(R) certification preferred
• BLS certification required or preferred per facility guidelines
• Minimum of 1 year of radiography experience
• Comfortable with fluoroscopy and a range of procedures including arthrography, ERCP, myelography, upper GI series and trauma imaging
• Experience with PACS and common vendor equipment (GE, Philips, Siemens)
• Ability to work nights and the 7-on/7-off rotation and cover every other weekend as scheduled
• Prior charge or lead experience preferred, but not required
• Travel experience not required

Knowledge & Skills

• Radiography and X-ray technique expertise
• Fluoroscopy and contrast media administration
• Portable/bedside imaging and mobile surgical C-Arm/O-ARM procedures
• PACS operation and digital imaging workflows
• Radiation safety principles and infection prevention best practices
• Familiarity with Epic charting (preferred)
• Comfort imaging across populations: neonates through geriatrics
