Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Day). Orientation: 3 days, same schedule as assignment
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $55 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Verify and accurately dispense medications in accordance with prescriptions and facility policies
- Counsel and educate patients and healthcare staff about medication use and safety
- Collaborate with the medical team to support clinical and operational pharmacy needs
- Maintain meticulous medication records and ensure regulatory compliance
- Manage inventory and restocking to ensure medication availability
- Participate in orientation and training to support a smooth assignment start
Qualifications
- Active Pharmacist license in California or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Pharmacy degree (PharmD preferred) or equivalent pharmacy qualification
- Experience in institutional or hospital pharmacy settings preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
- Ability to work Monday through Friday on the posted schedule and complete the 3-day orientation
Education
- PharmD preferred; BS in Pharmacy or equivalent considered
Knowledge & Skills
- Medication dispensing and verification best practices
- Familiarity with pharmacy laws, regulations, and controlled substance handling
- Comfortable with electronic medication records and dispensing systems
- Excellent communication skills for patient and team interactions
- Strong organizational skills and inventory management
