Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents, promoting dignity and comfort
Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, mobility, and toileting
Measure and record vital signs and report any changes in condition to the nursing team
Maintain accurate documentation and follow care plans with attention to detail
Work collaboratively with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver excellent care
Support a clean, safe environment by following infection control and safety protocols
Communicate clearly and kindly with residents and their families to build trust

Qualifications

Current CNA certification valid in Pennsylvania
Completion of an accredited CNA training program
Ability to pass background check and drug screening as required
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner
Reliable and punctual with the ability to follow established care plans

Education

High school diploma or GED and completion of an accredited CNA program

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care and ADL assistance
Vital signs measurement and documentation
Infection control and safety practices
Resident hygiene and mobility support
Clear communication with residents, families, and care teams
Basic charting and familiarity with electronic or paper records
