Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with daily living activities
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff promptly
Assist with safe transfers, mobility, and positioning to promote comfort and dignity
Support feeding, bathing, grooming, and toileting while encouraging independence
Maintain accurate documentation of care given and resident responses
Follow infection control and safety procedures to protect residents and team members
Build trusting relationships with residents and their families through clear communication

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in good standing (required)
Demonstrated experience in direct patient care or long-term care settings preferred
Basic life support (BLS) or ability to obtain upon hire (preferred)
Clear background check and up-to-date immunizations as required by facility
Reliable, caring attitude with strong communication and teamwork skills

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an approved CNA training program (required)

Knowledge & Skills

Understanding of resident-centered care and activities of daily living
Basic clinical skills: vital signs, safe patient handling, hygiene assistance
Strong observation skills and ability to report changes accurately
Compassionate communication with residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams
Familiarity with infection control practices and patient safety principles
