Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) during overnight hours
• Monitor and accurately document patient vital signs, behaviors, and changes in condition
• Assist nursing staff with care tasks, transfers, and following care plans
• Maintain a safe, clean patient environment and follow infection control practices
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team
• Support patient comfort, mobility, and fall prevention throughout the shift

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification (required)
• Active state CNA certification or eligibility to obtain state certification
• CPR/BLS certification preferred
• Previous CNA experience preferred; new graduates who meet certification requirements are encouraged to apply
• Ability to work overnight hours and provide compassionate, patient-centered care

Education

• Completion of an accredited CNA training program
• High school diploma or GED preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Comfortable providing personal care and assisting with ADLs
• Basic competency in taking and recording vital signs
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
• Attention to detail and a focus on patient safety and dignity
• Ability to follow care plans and document accurately
