Roles & Responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions accurately and efficiently to community patients
• Provide immunizations and educate patients on medication use
• Manage medication preparation for discharge to bedside
• Document prescriptions and workflows using Epic Willow Ambulatory
• Support pharmacists with medication management tasks and counseling
• Assist with sterile compounding tasks where applicable and follow safety protocols
• Maintain regulatory compliance and help ensure a safe pharmacy environment

Qualifications

• Current unencumbered Certified Oregon Pharmacy Technician License required
• Epic Willow Ambulatory experience required
• Outpatient/retail pharmacy experience preferred
• Sterile compounding experience preferred
• Successful completion of a Medical Pharmacy Technician course preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Pre-employment/post-offer drug screen required
• Willingness to work day shifts with rotating weekends

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Medical Pharmacy Technician course completion (preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

• Dispensing prescriptions and outpatient pharmacy workflows
• Immunization administration and documentation best practices
• Medication management and discharge medication processing
• Proficiency with Epic Willow Ambulatory electronic systems
• Sterile compounding knowledge (preferred)
• Strong attention to detail, record keeping, and regulatory compliance
• Clear, compassionate communication with patients and care teams
