Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 8-hour shift (specific start/end times and days to be confirmed with hiring manager)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents — assess, assist, and advocate
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
Document assessments, care provided, and changes in condition in the electronic chart
Collaborate with RNs, CNAs, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated care
Monitor residents for changes and promptly escalate concerns to the clinical team
Support resident comfort and dignity while educating families when appropriate

Qualifications

Active LPN license (ability to practice in Pennsylvania strongly preferred)
Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
Completed accredited LPN/LVN training program
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Willingness to pass background check and required health screenings/immunizations
Prior long-term care or skilled nursing experience is a plus

Education

Completion of an accredited LPN/LVN program
High school diploma or GED

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and basic clinical assessments
Fundamental nursing procedures and vital sign monitoring
Infection control and proper PPE use
Basic electronic medical record (EMR) documentation
Time management and prioritization in a busy care setting
Compassionate resident-centered care and strong interpersonal skills
