Location: Spokane, WA

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Tuesday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM (4x10 Day Shift) - long weekend every weekend

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $39 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist clinicians in general dentistry procedures, providing careful, patient-centered care
Obtain and document dental history and record patient allergies accurately
Take and record vital signs as needed to support safe treatment
Support residents and supervising DAs in a teaching clinic setting, contributing to training and learning
Prepare and maintain treatment rooms and instruments to ensure efficient, safe patient flow
Work compassionately with special needs and nuanced cases, adapting care to individual patient needs

Qualifications

Washington State Department of Health license as a DA or RDA required, or must APPLY for WA licensure on the day of submittal
Minimum 1 year of general dentistry experience
Experience in a teaching clinic or residency setting is a strong plus
Comfort and experience working with special needs patients preferred
BLS certification preferred
EPIC charting experience is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Patient care and chairside assistance
Obtaining dental history and documenting allergies
Recording vital signs
Dental assisting fundamentals and specialized dental procedures
Familiarity with EPIC for charting
Experience supporting a teaching clinic and working with residents
