Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hands-on patient care including bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
Assist with meal feeding and ensure patients’ nutritional needs are met
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes to nursing staff
Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
Support nursing team with activities of daily living and documentation
Build trusting relationships with patients and families through respectful communication

Qualifications

Current CNA certification required
Ability to perform essential CNA duties for an 8-hour shift
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Comfortable with direct patient care and basic charting
Willingness to complete facility onboarding and any required screenings

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; current CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Patient hygiene and mobility assistance
Basic vital signs measurement and observation skills
Safe transfer and lifting techniques
Infection control practices and standard precautions
Compassionate bedside manner and effective communication
Basic documentation and handoff reporting
