Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care for adults and elders in the facility
• Assess patient conditions, monitor vital signs, and document changes accurately
• Administer medications and treatments safely, following established protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and discharge planning
• Respond to clinical emergencies calmly and effectively while following facility procedures
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation to support continuity of care

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania (or compact license where applicable)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred or available
• Comfort and stamina for 12-hour shift work; ability to lift/assist patients as needed
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Previous acute care or long-term care experience preferred but new grads with strong clinical skills are welcome

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of nursing fundamentals, medication administration, and infection control
• Proficiency in patient assessment, care planning, and documentation
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and communicate effectively with patients and families
• Time management and prioritization skills in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Familiarity with electronic health record documentation and standard clinical equipment
