Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
Monitor patients’ conditions and report any changes to nursing staff promptly
Assist with mobility, transfers, and safe use of assistive devices
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided
Support a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality person-centered care

Qualifications

Current and valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
Comfortable assisting with daily living activities and gentle patient handling
Good communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Willingness to pass background checks and meet facility immunization requirements
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Active CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Foundational nursing care and patient hygiene practices
Basic infection control and safety protocols
Accurate charting and documentation skills
Ability to work calmly in fast-paced or emotional situations
Respect for patient dignity, privacy, and cultural diversity
