Roles & Responsibilities

Perform vital signs and basic clinical tasks to ensure excellent patient care
Prepare exam rooms and assist clinicians during ambulatory visits
Document patient information accurately in the chart and maintain records
Collect specimens and assist with point-of-care testing as needed
Provide clear, compassionate communication to patients and families
Support clinic flow by triaging tasks and coordinating with team members

Qualifications

Current Medical Assistant certification or completion of an accredited MA program, or equivalent clinical training
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required or willingness to obtain during orientation
Comfortable working in an ambulatory clinic setting and supporting clinicians
Strong communication skills and a patient-centered attitude
Ability to pass background and health screenings as required by facility

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Clinical fundamentals: vital signs, specimen collection, rooming patients
Familiarity or willingness to learn electronic health record (EHR) documentation
Good organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinic
Professional patient communication and basic infection control practices
Teamwork mindset and flexibility to support patient care needs
