Shift Type: 8-hour shifts; specific start/end times and days to be determined with the facility

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents and patients
Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and grooming
Help with safe transfers and mobility support while following facility protocols
Monitor and document patient condition, reporting changes to the nursing team
Maintain a clean, safe, and dignified environment for every patient
Collaborate with nurses and support staff to deliver consistent, high-quality care

Qualifications

Valid CNA certification for the state of Pennsylvania (required)
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
Comfortable with patient transfers and basic mobility assistance
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
Compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to help others
Previous experience in long-term care or a similar setting is a plus, but new CNAs are welcome

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an approved CNA training program and state certification

Knowledge & Skills

Basic clinical skills and patient care techniques
Infection control and proper PPE use
Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
Accurate documentation and basic charting practices
Time management in a fast-paced care environment
Clear, compassionate communication with patients and families
