Roles & Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care with compassion and attention to detail
Assist residents with activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility
Take and record vital signs and report changes in resident condition promptly
Support safe transfers and proper use of assistive devices
Maintain a clean, respectful, and comfortable environment for residents
Communicate clearly and kindly with residents, families, and the care team
Document care accurately and timely in resident records
Participate in team huddles and contribute to care planning for better outcomes

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in Pennsylvania (required)
Completion of a state-approved CNA training program
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and required health screenings
Strong communication skills and a caring, patient-centered attitude
Comfort with routine physical tasks and safe lifting practices

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of state-approved Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on resident care and ADL assistance
Basic clinical skills: vital signs, feeding, ambulation support
Infection control and safe hygiene practices
Understanding of resident rights, dignity, and privacy
Teamwork and clear communication with interdisciplinary staff
Basic documentation and charting skills
