Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care in an acute care setting
Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding)
Monitor and document vital signs and patient condition accurately
Collaborate with nursing staff to implement care plans and communicate changes
Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control protocols
Support patient mobility and transfers using safe techniques
Offer emotional support to patients and families during care

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (active and in good standing)
Experience in acute care preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification preferred
Ability to work 12.5-hour shifts and adapt to rotating schedules
Current immunizations and ability to meet facility health requirements
Strong communication skills and teamwork mindset

Education

High school diploma or GED (required)
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential (required)

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of acute care patient needs and monitoring
Proficiency with vital signs, patient hygiene, and ADLs
Familiarity with infection control and safety procedures
Ability to document care clearly and follow care plans
Good interpersonal skills for working with patients, families, and staff
