Location: Glen Mills, PA

Start Date: 04-17-2026

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 8-hour shift; exact days and start/end times to be confirmed (schedule TBD)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care, assisting with activities of daily living
Monitor and document patient conditions accurately and promptly
Support nursing staff with procedures, transfers, and mobility assistance
Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
Communicate clearly and kindly with patients, families, and the care team
Participate in care planning and follow established care protocols

Qualifications

Active CNA certification (required) — Pennsylvania certification preferred
Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
Comfortable with hands-on patient care and lifting/transfer assistance
Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Previous direct care experience is a plus but new grads are welcome

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completed CNA training program and active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Basic clinical skills: vital signs, bathing, feeding, mobility assistance
Patient safety and infection control practices
Documentation and charting fundamentals
Empathy, patience, and effective verbal communication
Ability to follow care plans and work collaboratively with nurses
