Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts; exact start/end times and scheduled days to be confirmed (facility lists 12-hour RN shifts)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $45 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to residents and patients
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Perform thorough clinical assessments and monitor patient condition
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and follow care plans
Document patient care and observations clearly in the medical record
Respond promptly to emergencies and changes in patient status
Support patient and family education with empathy and clarity

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Connecticut
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS and/or other advanced certifications preferred
Comfortable working 12-hour shifts and delivering hands-on patient care
Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a clinical team
Current immunizations and any facility-required health screenings

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Clinical assessment and patient monitoring
Medication administration and IV therapy basics
Electronic health record (EHR) documentation
Infection control and safety procedures
Patient education and family communication
Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced setting
