Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in accordance with care plans
• Administer medications and document treatments accurately and timely
• Monitor patient status and report changes or concerns to the care team
• Perform routine assessments, wound care, and basic procedures within LPN scope
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and support staff to ensure continuity of care
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation in the patient chart
• Follow infection control protocols and facility policies to ensure patient safety
• Support patients and families with clear communication and compassionate education

Qualifications

• Current LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) license—Georgia licensure preferred or able to obtain
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening as required by facility
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills with a patient-first mindset
• Previous clinical experience as an LPN preferred (per diem-friendly for new grads with strong clinical training)

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program (LPN certificate or diploma)
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of LPN scope of practice, medication administration, and basic nursing procedures
• Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to recognize changes in patient condition
• Comfortable with electronic medical records and timely documentation
• Effective prioritization and time management during busy 12.5-hour shifts
• Compassionate bedside manner and clear communication with patients and families
