Roles & Responsibilities

Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting) with compassion and respect
Take and record vital signs accurately and report changes promptly
Support safe patient mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics
Document care and observations in the patient chart in a timely manner
Work with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated care
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (eligible to work in Georgia)
Previous experience in acute care or long-term care preferred but not required
Strong communication skills and a caring bedside manner
Ability to pass facility-required background check and drug screen
Basic computer/EMR familiarity a plus
Availability for 12+ hour per-diem shifts

Education

High school diploma or GED
Completed state-approved CNA program and active certification

Knowledge & Skills

Foundational patient care skills and safe transfer techniques
Vital signs measurement and basic assessment recognition
Good charting practices and attention to detail
Infection prevention and standard precautions
Teamwork, time management, and adaptability in fast-paced settings
