Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 12.5-hour shifts (specific start/end times and days to be confirmed) - RN - ICU

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $47 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, patient-centered critical care for ICU patients
Monitor and interpret complex physiological data and respond appropriately
Administer medications, infusions, and therapies safely and accurately
Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary team members
Educate patients and families with compassion and clear communication
Participate in unit-based quality improvement and patient safety initiatives

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
Clinical experience or comfort working in an ICU environment (ICU skillset required)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred
Strong critical thinking, assessment, and crisis management abilities
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Nursing diploma required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Critical care assessment and monitoring
Familiarity with ventilators and advanced respiratory support
Medication calculation and IV infusion management
Electronic health record documentation
Patient advocacy and family-centered care
Ability to triage and prioritize in high-acuity settings
