Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to assigned patients
Assess patient conditions, monitor vital signs, and document findings accurately
Administer medications and treatments safely and according to policy
Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team
Educate patients and families about care plans, medications, and discharge instructions
Respond to patient needs and escalate concerns to ensure safe outcomes
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to facility protocols

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania required
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred or as required by unit
Demonstrated clinical experience in acute care or relevant specialty
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team
Current immunizations and ability to meet facility onboarding requirements

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Clinical assessment and patient monitoring
Medication administration and safe documentation practices
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Infection control and patient safety principles
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced healthcare environment
