Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating day and night shifts (schedule set by Director), 10-hour shifts. Typical examples: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM, 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM, 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM; night options include 8:00 PM - 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM. Weekend rotation typically every 3rd or 4th weekend. Call and holiday coverage as needed.

Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality X-ray and CT imaging (including CTA) across ambulatory, clinic, outpatient, inpatient, ER, and OR settings
- Operate and maintain department equipment such as Siemens 128-slice CT, Siemens Ysio X-ray, Siemens MIRA portable, GE OEC c-arm, and Hologic Mini-C
- Provide emergent intraoperative C-arm support when needed to assist surgical teams
- Assist with radiology injections and biopsies when trained and scheduled to float for those procedures
- Accurately document exams in EPIC and manage images in McKesson PACS to ensure clear communication of results
- Maintain radiation safety, patient positioning, and image quality standards on every study
- Collaborate with the care team to support stroke and trauma workflows and deliver compassionate patient care
Qualifications
- Current ARRT (R) credential required
- BLS certification required
- ARRT (CT) certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year of experience in X-ray and CT imaging
- Comfortable using C-arm in emergent surgical cases and floating to support procedures when trained
- Familiarity with EPIC charting and McKesson PACS preferred
- Must have an account registered to run the MN NETSTUDY prior to submission
- Candidates may not have been full-time, part-time, or PRN with any CommonSpirit (CHI/Dignity) facility within the past year; RTO required upfront
Education
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (Associate degree preferred) or equivalent
- State licensure as required
Knowledge & Skills
- Proven skills with CT imaging and CTA protocols
- Strong X-ray positioning and technique across adult and trauma cases
- Experience with Siemens CT and X-ray platforms and GE OEC C-arm operation
- Comfortable performing orthopedic imaging and assisting with image-guided procedures
- Proficient in EPIC electronic charting and McKesson PACS image management
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and the ability to work in a fast-paced emergency setting
- Attention to detail with radiation safety and patient care best practices
