Candidate Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to Med/Surg patients
Perform thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Coordinate with interdisciplinary team members to support seamless patient care
Monitor patient progress and promptly escalate changes in condition
Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and discharge planning
Document care clearly and timely in the electronic health record

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Georgia or compact state privileges
Recent clinical experience in medical-surgical nursing preferred
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS encouraged when applicable
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced hospital environment

Education

Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN). BSN preferred.

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in Med/Surg nursing principles and patient assessment
Medication administration and IV therapy knowledge
Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) documentation
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
Skilled in patient and family education and discharge planning
Comfortable collaborating across interdisciplinary care teams
