Candidate Pay Rate: $41 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, patient-centered nursing care in accordance with facility policies and best practices
Perform thorough patient assessments and create clear, actionable care plans
Administer medications and treatments safely and document accurately
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and achieve patient goals
Monitor patient status and escalate changes in condition promptly
Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatments and discharge plans
Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records

Qualifications

Current, unrestricted RN license (ability to practice in Pennsylvania preferred)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS or PALS preferred where applicable
Prior clinical experience as an RN in an acute care or similar setting is a plus
Strong assessment, clinical judgment and time management skills
Demonstrated ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with patients and clinicians

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Solid knowledge of nursing fundamentals and safe medication administration
Comfortable using electronic medical record systems for documentation
Excellent communication and patient education skills
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
