Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate basic care and support to patients with dignity
Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, feeding, mobility)
Monitor and accurately document vital signs and patient conditions
Communicate changes in patient status to the nursing team promptly
Help maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for patients
Support infection control practices and facility policies
Collaborate with colleagues to deliver patient-centered care

Qualifications

Active CNA certification (or equivalent) — Georgia preferred/required
Current BLS/CPR certification preferred
Demonstrated ability to assist with ADLs and basic patient care
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work 12.5-hour shifts and follow facility schedules

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an accredited CNA program and active certification

Knowledge & Skills

Patient care fundamentals and comfort with hands-on assistance
Basic vital sign assessment and documentation
Infection control procedures and safe patient handling
Good observational skills and clear communication with nursing staff
Time management and ability to prioritize patient needs
