Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and use the nursing process to create and update individualized care plans
- Administer treatments and medications safely and accurately, following physician orders and facility protocols
- Document resident care, observations, and outcomes thoroughly and timely in the medical record
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and achieve positive resident outcomes
- Provide clear, compassionate education and support to residents and their families
- Participate in performance improvement activities to enhance quality of care and resident safety
Qualifications
- Current California RN license required
- Current CPR certification required
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
- Minimum one (1) year of experience as a Registered Nurse
- Proven ability in medication administration, nursing assessment, documentation, and interdisciplinary collaboration
Education
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing

- Accurate clinical documentation
- Interdisciplinary collaboration and communication
- Resident education and culturally sensitive care
- Ability to interpret diagnostic tests and apply results to the plan of care
