Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform CT and MRI procedures following established protocols to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment, calling service engineers when needed to ensure minimal downtime
• Practice and promote radiation safety, maintaining ALARA standards for patients and staff
• Carry out advanced radiographic procedures including X-ray and fluoroscopy, including C-arm and OR support
• Maintain accurate patient records and charges in the EHR, ensuring documentation integrity
• Provide clear patient education about procedures and equipment to ensure comfort and cooperation
• Assist with clerical duties, phone reception, and patient transportation when required
• Train and cross-train imaging staff to support team capability and coverage
• Manage supply ordering and inventory to keep the department running smoothly
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with regulatory and safety standards

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
• ARRT registration in Radiology (R) with CT and MRI certifications required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtain within 90 days of hire
• Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Successful completion of background check, pre-employment drug screen, and employee health meeting prior to start
• Preferred: Two years of experience as a practicing Radiologic Technologist with CT and MRI experience
• Preferred: Cross-training in DEXA and Mammography; experience with PACS and RIS/HIS

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program

Knowledge & Skills

• Computed Tomography (CT) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) operation and protocols
• Radiologic technology fundamentals and image acquisition best practices
• Radiation safety principles and ALARA methodology
• Fluoroscopy, X-ray, C-arm, and OR imaging support
• Electronic health records, PACS, and RIS/HIS familiarity
• Strong patient care, communication, and customer service skills
• Equipment troubleshooting and basic maintenance procedures
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work with minimal supervision
