Roles & Responsibilities

• Observe and evaluate treatment effects and recommend treatment changes to physicians and care team as needed
• Perform thorough assessments of patients to identify functional needs and goals
• Provide skilled care to individuals with neuromuscular, musculoskeletal, integumentary, pulmonary and cardiovascular disorders
• Select and implement appropriate therapeutic procedures to maintain, improve, and restore patient function
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary staff to optimize patient outcomes and adjust treatment plans

Qualifications

• Current Colorado Physical Therapy license required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association required
• Willingness to relocate to and live in a rural community (candidates must be willing to relocate)
• Strong clinical assessment and therapeutic skills relevant to inpatient rehabilitation
