Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver technical nursing care to residents using the nursing process and established care plans
Provide compassionate resident care and monitor clinical status, escalating to the RN as needed
Assume charge nurse responsibilities in the Skilled Nursing Facility when assigned
Apply clinical judgment to plan, prioritize, and adapt care based on resident needs
Accurately document care and use facility computer systems for resident records
Communicate clearly with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary care team

Qualifications

Current California LVN license (required)
Current CPR certification (required)
Graduated from an approved LVN program with an associate degree or equivalent
At least 1 year of experience as an LVN
Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) experience and charge nurse capability preferred

Education

Graduate of an approved LVN program (Associate degree or equivalent preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

Strong understanding and application of the nursing process
Clinical judgment and resident-focused care
CPR and basic life support skills
Proficient written and verbal communication
Comfortable and proficient with computer documentation and EHR systems
Ability to prioritize tasks and remain flexible in a dynamic SNF environment

Benefits

Sign-on bonus: $5,000
Pay scale with 30 increments to reward up to 30 years of relevant experience
