Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess and triage patients rapidly in a fast-paced emergency setting
• Provide high-quality, evidence-based emergency nursing care (adult and pediatric as needed)
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and emergency interventions with precision
• Collaborate with physicians, techs, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
• Document patient conditions, treatments, and responses accurately and promptly
• Maintain infection control practices and ensure compliance with facility policies
• Participate in Trinity specialty competency testing and skills checklists to maintain proficiency

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure; License/Certificate Verification required
• Current BLS, PALS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications
• Completion of Trinity Specialty Specific Competency Testing and Trinity Skills Checklist
• Current fit test/respirator evaluation and required immunizations and screenings (Tdap, COVID-19, MMR, Hep B, Influenza, Varicella, 2-step PPD or IGRA)
• Successful completion of Trinity 10-panel drug screen and physical/health statement

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong emergency nursing assessment and triage skills
• Proficiency in ACLS and PALS algorithms and emergency protocols
• Ability to perform under pressure and prioritize multiple critical tasks
• Skilled in trauma assessment and rapid stabilization (TNCC principles)
• Excellent communication and teamwork in multidisciplinary emergency settings
• Adherence to clinical competency standards and facility-specific procedures
