Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess residents using the nursing process and develop individualized care plans that promote positive outcomes
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately while monitoring resident responses
- Interpret diagnostic tests and integrate findings into clinical decision-making and care planning
- Document all direct and indirect nursing care thoroughly and in accordance with facility policy
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate and optimize resident care
- Provide resident and family education with cultural sensitivity and clear communication
- Participate in performance improvement activities to enhance quality of care and resident satisfaction
Qualifications
- Current California RN license (required)
- Current certification in CPR (required)
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
Education
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient assessment and clinical decision-making
- Care planning and implementation
- Medication administration and management
- Clinical documentation and regulatory compliance
- Interdisciplinary collaboration and communication
- Interpreting diagnostic tests
- Patient education, performance improvement, and cultural competency
