Candidate Pay Rate: $27 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care in an acute care setting
Assist patients with activities of daily living while maintaining dignity and respect
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team
Support safe patient transfers, positioning, and mobility
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated care
Document care accurately and timely to ensure clear communication

Qualifications

Current CNA certification or state-required certification for Hawaii
Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred or willingness to obtain
Experience in acute care environments is a plus
Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Ability to handle physically active duties and follow infection control protocols

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
CNA certification as required by state regulations

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of patient safety and infection prevention best practices
Skill in assisting with hygiene, bathing, feeding, and mobility
Comfortable with charting and basic clinical documentation
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced acute care environment
Strong interpersonal skills for working with patients and families
