Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, resident-centered direct care and assistance with activities of daily living
Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and mobility while preserving dignity
Take and document vital signs and report any changes in condition to nursing staff
Maintain accurate resident records and communicate clearly with the care team
Support a clean, safe and comfortable environment for residents
Build trusting relationships with residents and their families through respectful interaction

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (must be eligible or certified for Pennsylvania)
High school diploma or GED preferred
CPR/AED certification preferred or willing to obtain
Ability to pass background check and drug screening as required
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Ability to perform physical aspects of the role (lifting, turning, assisting residents)

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred; completed CNA training program and current CNA certification required

Knowledge & Skills

Understanding of basic patient care and ADLs
Vital sign monitoring and basic charting
Infection control and proper PPE usage
Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced care environment
Empathy, patience and strong interpersonal skills
