Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during overnight shifts
Perform timely assessments and document patient condition changes accurately
Administer medications and treatments safely and according to orders
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care
Respond to emergencies and escalating situations with calm, decisive action
Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions

Qualifications

Current RN license (California licensure preferred or eligible)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS and PALS a plus
Prior acute care or hospital experience preferred (1+ year recommended)
Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and bedside manner
Ability to work overnight shifts and adapt to per diem scheduling

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in patient assessment and clinical documentation
Medication administration and IV therapy skills
Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Infection control practices and safe patient handling
