Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage oncology and infusion patients through comprehensive examination, treatment planning, consultation, and follow-up
• Provide hands-on infusion patient management and monitor responses to therapy
• Order and interpret labs and imaging to guide timely clinical decisions
• Make and coordinate referrals to ensure seamless, patient-centered care
• Participate actively in patient satisfaction programs to enhance the care experience
• Lead and contribute to quality improvement initiatives that improve outcomes and safety
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to meet organizational and departmental goals

Qualifications

• For Nurse Practitioners: AOCNP certification and current ANCC or AANP certification; minimum of 2 years oncology subspecialty experience
• For Physician Assistants: NCCPA certification and current PA-C credential; oncology-specific certification preferred
• Active DEA registration required
• Unrestricted Colorado license required
• Demonstrated experience managing oncology and infusion patients, including ordering labs/imaging and coordinating referrals
• Comfort participating in quality improvement and patient satisfaction initiatives

• Oncology patient management and subspecialty clinical judgment
• Infusion patient management and monitoring
• Proficiency ordering and interpreting labs and imaging
• Strong patient communication and care coordination skills
• Referral management and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Familiarity with quality improvement processes and patient satisfaction strategies
