Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assess patients continuously using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation)
Provide direct, safe, high-quality ICU care and hemodynamic monitoring
Interpret diagnostic studies and communicate abnormal findings to the care team
Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition and treatment response
Educate patients and families and guide other nursing personnel to maintain standards of care
Maintain patient privacy, confidentiality and adherence to infection control practices
Participate in required competency testing and skills validation

Qualifications

Current and valid state RN license
BLS and ACLS required
Minimum of 1 year as a staff RN in an acute care/critical care hospital
CCRN (Critical Care RN) certification preferred
NIHSS and DCI/BVP certifications listed as required/preferred
EPIC EMR experience preferred
COVID-19 vaccination/boosters preferred and other health screenings required

Knowledge & Skills

Critical care nursing and acute care experience
Hemodynamic monitoring and interpretation
Patient assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation
Patient/family education and communication skills
Infection control practices and immunity/health screening compliance
Experience with EMR systems (EPIC preferred)
Ability to perform and pass required pharmacology, rhythm interpretation and specialty exams
