Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide continuous telemetry monitoring and promptly identify rhythm changes
Deliver compassionate, high-quality patient care on MedSurg and telemetry units
Float between telemetry and MedSurg as needed to support patient care
Administer medications and treatments safely and document accurately
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care plans
Complete required competency assessments and specialty exams to maintain readiness
Maintain infection control practices and required health screenings

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse license with Nursys verification (California)
BLS required and ACLS required
CPI and DCI/BVP listed as required certifications
Ability to complete Prime Core Competencies, Prime Skills Checklist, and Prime Specialty Exam
Current immunizations and successful drug screen, TB test, fit test, and other health requirements as listed
Comfortable working 12-hour day shifts and floating to MedSurg

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
Medical-surgical nursing principles and patient care
IV medication administration and clinical documentation
Strong communication, situational awareness, and teamwork
Ability to perform under pressure and prioritize patient safety
