Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during overnight shifts
• Perform thorough assessments, monitor patients, and document changes accurately
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and safe transitions
• Respond promptly to emergencies and escalate concerns as appropriate
• Support patient education and family communication with clarity and empathy

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred
• Comfortable working overnight 12-hour shifts with strong clinical judgment
• Experience working with MST-related protocols or a willingness to learn
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently on per-diem shifts

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid patient assessment and critical thinking skills
• Proficiency with medication administration and nursing documentation
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Ability to manage acute situations and prioritize effectively
• Team-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal skills
