Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide and administer safe, efficient, and courteous nursing care to med/surg patients
• Perform thorough patient assessments and interpret data to guide age-appropriate care
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and document in Cerner EMR
• Follow hospital policies and established nursing procedures to maintain high standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Educate patients and families on care needs, discharge instructions, and health promotion
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and ensure patient safety at all times

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the State of Colorado (required)
• Current BLS certification (required)
• ACLS and PALS preferred
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Prefer two (2) years of experience as a registered nurse; ER RN experience preferred
• Basic computer knowledge and strong clinical judgment
• BSN preferred
