Location: Hamilton, NY

Shift Type: Per diem, rotating 12-hour shifts (3x12s). Schedule varies; may include day, evening, and night rotations and weekends (rotating)

Candidate Pay Rate: $79.47 - $55.63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during assigned 12-hour shifts
Perform thorough assessments and implement individualized care plans
Administer medications and treatments safely and document accurately
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and improve patient outcomes
Act promptly in emergencies and escalate concerns according to protocol
Support patients and families with clear communication and education

Qualifications

Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York (required)
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; ACLS preferred or available
Comfortable working 12-hour rotating shifts and flexible per diem schedules
Strong clinical judgment, effective communication, and teamwork skills
Previous acute care or relevant clinical experience preferred

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or nursing diploma required; BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Solid assessment and critical thinking skills for inpatient nursing
Proficient clinical documentation and electronic health record familiarity
Medication administration and IV therapy competence
Ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage time during busy 12-hour shifts
Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-first attitude
