Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate GE VCT 64-slice and GE Revolution 128-slice CT scanners to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Perform CT and general X-ray imaging studies while ensuring patient safety and comfort
• Collaborate with clinical teams in the ED, OR, Endoscopy, and other departments when floating is required
• Maintain accurate imaging records in EPIC and manage images in McKesson PACS
• Follow radiation safety protocols and wear provided radiation badge at all times
• Provide compassionate patient care and clear communication throughout imaging procedures
• Participate in call/standby rotations and respond within required response times

Qualifications

• Certified CT Technologist (ARRT-CT) — required
• BLS certification — required
• Minimum 2 years of clinical imaging experience (CT or X-ray preferred)
• Hands-on experience with GE CT scanners (GE VCT 64-slice and GE Revolution 128-slice) — required
• Familiarity with EPIC charting and McKesson PACS
• Valid driver’s license at submittal (used to confirm radius eligibility)
• Ability to work weekend nights, holidays, and participate in call/standby as needed
• Must comply with facility policies (e.g., artificial nails prohibited in patient care areas)

Knowledge & Skills

• Computed Tomography (CT) techniques and protocols
• Radiation safety practices and badge usage
• Patient positioning, care, and communication
• EPIC electronic medical record workflows
• McKesson PACS image management
• Cross-coverage skills for XR, OR imaging, Endoscopy, and ED imaging
• Comfort working in a fast-paced acute care setting
