Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care during your shift
• Assess and monitor patients' conditions, implementing timely interventions
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care plans
• Document patient care and clinical changes clearly in the medical record
• Educate patients and their families on care plans, medications, and follow-up
• Maintain infection control, safety standards, and professional practice expectations
• Support smooth handoffs and continuity of care across shifts

Qualifications

• Current RN or LPN license in New Mexico (active and unencumbered)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS preferred where applicable
• Previous acute care or skilled nursing experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and prioritization skills
• Ability to work overnight 12+ hour shifts and thrive in a fast-paced team environment

Education

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (LPN diploma or RN ADN/BSN as appropriate)

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical assessment and monitoring of adult patients
• Medication administration and documentation best practices
• Familiarity with electronic medical records and timely charting
• Effective communication with patients, families, and care teams
• Time management and ability to prioritize competing tasks
• Commitment to infection control and patient safety protocols
