Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate personal care and assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming)
Assist with safe patient transfers and ambulation, using proper body mechanics
Take and record vital signs and report any changes to the nurse in charge
Support the nursing team by following care plans and documenting interventions accurately
Maintain a clean, safe environment and adhere to infection control practices
Communicate respectfully with patients and families to ensure comfort and dignity

Qualifications

Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential (required)
Valid state authorization to work in California for patient care
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
Reliable, punctual, and able to work a 12-hour day shift
Comfortable working in fast-paced clinical settings and collaborating with nursing staff

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Completion of an approved CNA training program and active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on patient care and ADL support
Vital signs measurement and basic clinical observations
Accurate documentation and charting of patient care
Infection control and safe patient-handling techniques
Strong communication and teamwork skills
