Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and patients, assisting with activities of daily living
Monitor patient condition and report changes promptly to the nursing team
Comfort and support patients emotionally and physically, maintaining dignity and respect
Assist with routine clinical tasks such as vital signs, bathing, dressing, and mobility
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care and observations
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated care

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in the state of California (or eligible to obtain prior to start)
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willing to obtain
Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively with patients, families, and team members
Reliable, professional, and able to follow facility policies and procedures
Previous experience as a CNA is a plus, especially in long-term care or acute settings

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an accredited CNA program and current state certification

Knowledge & Skills

Strong patient-care skills and familiarity with ADLs (activities of daily living)
Comfortable taking and recording vital signs and observing clinical changes
Good infection control practices and attention to safe care
Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Compassionate bedside manner and excellent interpersonal skills
