Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality ambulatory pediatric nursing care in a busy outpatient clinic
• Administer pediatric vaccinations accurately and counsel families on immunization schedules
• Perform blood draws and CLIA-waived point-of-care testing with attention to safety and comfort
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with children and families in both English and Spanish
• Document visits thoroughly and collaborate with providers to ensure continuity of care
• Support clinic flow by triaging patients, preparing exam rooms, and coordinating follow-up
• Advocate for pediatric patients and contribute to a family-centered care environment

Qualifications

• Active RN license to practice in Colorado
• BLS (American Heart Association) required
• 5+ years of pediatric clinic / ambulatory pediatric experience
• Demonstrated outpatient/ambulatory clinic experience with pediatric populations
• Bilingual English/Spanish required — strong communication with families is essential
• Experience with pediatric vaccine administration, blood draws (phlebotomy), and CLIA-waived testing

Knowledge & Skills

• Ambulatory pediatrics and outpatient clinic workflows
• Pediatric vaccine schedules and safe administration practices
• Phlebotomy techniques for children and adolescents
• CLIA-waived testing procedures and quality control
• Bilingual communication (English/Spanish) for family-centered care
• Strong patient education, documentation, and triage skills
