Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures including brain, spine, ortho, body, abdomen, and cardiac scans with precision and compassion
• Operate and optimize the GE 450W 1.5T MRI scanner to deliver high-quality diagnostic images
• Use Meditech and Centricity PACS to document, archive, and share imaging studies efficiently
• Ensure patient safety through thorough MRI screening, proper positioning, and clear communication
• Collaborate closely with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams to support accurate diagnoses
• Participate in weekend and night call rotations to provide consistent patient care when needed
• Maintain equipment, follow infection control protocols, and keep accurate procedure logs

Qualifications

• MR Registered (required)
• BLS certification (required)
• Minimum 2 years of MRI experience (as listed in the posting)
• Demonstrated experience on GE MRI equipment (must-have)
• Familiarity with Meditech and Centricity PACS (preferred)
• Ability to work rotating shifts, participate in weekend call rotation, and cover night-call as needed
• Strong patient communication skills and attention to safety protocols

Knowledge & Skills

• Proven skill performing brain, spine, ortho, body, abdomen, and cardiac MRI protocols
• Proficiency with GE 450W 1.5T MRI operation and optimization
• Comfortable using Meditech EMR workflows and Centricity PACS image management
• Strong MRI safety knowledge, including patient screening and implant considerations
• Excellent patient positioning, scan protocol selection, and artifact recognition
• Professional communication and teamwork in a fast-paced radiology environment
