Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, evidence-based nursing care for laboring patients and their families
• Monitor maternal and fetal status using GE fetal monitoring and intervene appropriately
• Circulate in the OR for C-section deliveries, ensuring smooth workflow and patient safety
• Manage induction of labor and oxytocin protocols according to unit guidelines
• Perform postpartum assessments and provide compassionate postpartum care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care across L&D, antepartum and PACU
• Document care accurately in CPN and Meditech EMR systems

Qualifications

• Active RN license eligible for practice in Texas
• Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience (L&D background required)
• Demonstrated experience circulating in the OR for C-section deliveries
• Current BLS, ACLS and NRP certifications (required)
• Comfortable with fetal monitoring and L&D procedures including inductions and C-sections
• Familiarity with CPN and Meditech EMR preferred
