Roles & Responsibilities

• Administer radiopharmaceuticals safely and accurately to patients according to physician orders
• Operate and optimize nuclear medicine imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Monitor patient condition and radiation exposure, prioritizing patient safety and comfort
• Prepare and verify imaging protocols, ensuring accurate labeling and documentation
• Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary care team to support diagnostic decision making
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment, following infection control and safety guidelines
• Record and maintain compliance documentation and patient records in a timely manner

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of clinical experience in nuclear medicine or related imaging role
• NIHSS certification (link provided by facility) is required or highly requested
• Must submit all compliance documents at least one week prior to start date
• Provide work history and permanent address with your application
• Be prepared to provide requested time off (RTO) at time of submission; scheduling requests after offer may not be approved

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of nuclear medicine imaging principles and radionuclide administration
• Proficiency operating imaging equipment and ensuring image quality
• Patient-centered care skills with the ability to prepare and support patients through procedures
• Attention to detail for documentation, radiation safety, and regulatory compliance
• Good communication and teamwork skills for working with technologists, nurses, and physicians
