Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up the cardiac cath lab and specialty equipment for diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Assist the interventional team during right and left heart catheterizations and peripheral diagnostic/intervention cases
• Operate and troubleshoot lab equipment such as GE imaging systems, Impella, balloon pumps, Penumbra and IVUS devices
• Accurately document procedural details using Merge Hemo and maintain thorough patient records
• Participate in STEMI response and provide coverage at sister facility when on call
• Maintain sterile technique, ensure equipment readiness and contribute to a safe environment for patients and staff
• Collaborate with clinicians and support staff to optimize patient flow and experience in the Cath Lab

Qualifications

• RCIS certification required
• ACLS and BLS required (posting lists ALCS/BLS — ACLS is expected)
• Minimum of 2 years Cath Lab or related lab experience (posting specifies minimal 2-year lab experience)
• Experience with EP cases is a strong plus (advanced skill noted)
• Comfortable with Merge Hemo documentation and GE lab systems
• Able to work rotating call and travel modest distances to cover sister hospital when needed

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in cardiac catheterization procedures (right and left heart diagnostic and interventional)
• Experience with peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Familiarity with GE cath lab imaging systems
• Hands-on experience with Impella, balloon pumps, Penumbra and IVUS
• Proficient with Merge Hemo documentation workflows
• Strong teamwork, communication and acute response skills for STEMI situations
